Email is the way to reach us, and it is read by the people who actually make the products.
What to include
If your light is not behaving, these four things let us answer in one reply instead of five:
- What kind of light it is — strip, curtain, firework, Christmas string, TV backlight, car interior, solar, and so on.
- Which app you are using, and whether the light appears in the app's device list at all.
- What actually happens, as opposed to what should happen. "Connects, then drops after about a minute" tells us far more than "does not work".
- A photo — of the light, and of the controller or hub if you can get to it. This resolves more cases than any description.
Before you email about a connection problem
A large share of "my light will not connect" messages turn out to be the wrong app for that hardware — the apps are not interchangeable. Our app selection guide sorts that out in about a minute, and it is worth checking first.
Corrections to this guide
If something on these pages is wrong, out of date, or missing an important caveat, please tell us. Include the page address. We would rather fix it than leave it.
