What we make

What we actually make

We design the control solution — the electronics inside the light and the application that drives it. For most of these product lines, the light you bought was sold by somebody else's brand with our controller and our app inside it.

That arrangement is worth explaining, because it decides what this site is useful for. A partner brand designs the enclosure, prints the box and sells the product. We designed the controller and wrote the app. So when colours come out wrong or a light will not pair, we are usually the only people who can answer properly — the brand that sold it did not build that part.

It also means we are not a shop. There is no cart on this site and no price list. What we can offer is an explanation of how the thing in your hands works.

Reels of colour-changing LED strip connected to a multi-output controller.
The controller is the part we actually design; the strip and enclosure around it usually carry someone else's brand.

Control solutions

Every product line below runs on a controller we designed, paired with one of the sixteen applications we develop in-house. The apps section covers those, and which app controls your light maps all forty of our product categories to the app that drives each one.

Control typeWhat it covers
Single channelOne colour of LED strip — white or warm white
Two channelTunable white, mixing cool and warm on one strip
Three to five channel RGBFull-colour strip where the whole run changes together
Addressable RGBICPer-segment control, so colour can travel along the run
Multi-outputOne controller driving several strips in step
Mesh networkedRoom-level grouping across many fixtures, with offline voice
Broadcast synchronisedMany lights running one pattern together
Sound-reactiveA microphone in the controller itself, not in your phone

The forty categories in full

Every category we design a control solution for, grouped by control type, with the wiring it expects and the app that drives it. This is the same data our support team works from.

About these images. Each one stands for a category rather than a single item — the same category covers many shapes and sizes, so the picture shows what the category is for, which is the point of this list.

Where the guides are going

Not every line above has a guide yet. We write them as we have something worth saying rather than publishing a page per product for the sake of coverage — so this list is longer than the guide index, and will stay that way.

If your product line is not covered and you have a question about it, ask us. Questions are how we choose what to write next.
